General purpose aluminum welding wire with 5% silicon additives for welding various aluminum alloys containing no more than 2% alloying elements or 7% Si, e.g. 2014, 3003, 3004, 5052, 6060, 6061, 6063, 6101 etc.

Applications: ER4043 is designed for welding 6xxx series aluminum alloys. It can also be used to weld 3xxx series alloys or 2xxx alloys.
The most commonly used ER4043 filler is for auto parts, truck trailers and bicycles.
